Hello, I’m Francean. Teacher, mother, wife, and homeschool advocate. After years of study and a career in Hydrology and Coastal engineering at a large Hydro-Power company, I began my teaching journey as a Science teacher in a state school, then moved into the Waldorf Steiner field of education. It has been over a decade now that I have been privileged enough to spend my day in art and music and living in a world of storytelling and wonder, helping parents give their children a fantastic education at home.

My scientific studies reinforced my love and wonder of our planet, and I even spent a number of years training further in herbalism and viticulture, then running a private clinic in natural medicine.

I believe that every child deserves the opportunity to learn in a safe, encouraging environment, one where learning is exciting, and students graduate not only well educated academically, but socially resilient, with the ability to tackle problems logically.
